Virtue for Generative AI Conference
The Notre Dame Program on Artificial Intelligence and the Development of Ethics in Agents (ND-PAIDEIA) will host its inaugural annual conference on May 21-23, 2026. The tentative agenda features a wide array of academic explorations of the theme “Virtue for Generative AI.”

NotebookLM Gets Cinematic Video Overviews and EPUBs
NotebookLM added Cinematic Video Overviews (immersive, animated deep-dives generated from your sources), EPUB uploads, PPTX export for generated slides, and saved flashcard/quiz progress. You can now turn a stack of readings into a watchable explainer — great for studying, onboarding, or sharing a topic with a team.
ChatGPT Adds Interactive Learning Modules
When you ask ChatGPT about certain math and science topics, it can now present an interactive visual module that lets you experiment with formulas and variables in real time. Adjust inputs, manipulate equations, and instantly see how changes affect graphs and outcomes—turning abstract concepts into something you can explore directly.

Apple to Open Siri to Rival AI Assistants?
Bloomberg reports that Apple’s new Siri Extensions will let users route Siri requests to third-party AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini. The feature is expected to be announced in June 2026.
ChatGPT Arrives in Apple CarPlay
On April 2, OpenAI rolled out ChatGPT in Apple CarPlay, giving drivers hands-free access to conversational AI on the road. Handy for brainstorming, trip planning, or just getting a real answer to a question while you're behind the wheel.
Anthropic Previews "Claude Mythos" and Project Glasswing
Anthropic revealed Claude Mythos, a next-generation model with the ability to discover cybersecurity flaws and vulnerabilities. The company expressed such concern about the potential risk of releasing the tool that it launched Project Glasswing, an initiative that gives major technology providers early access in order "to secure the world’s most critical software" against AI-powered attacks.
