Generative AI tools are rapidly transforming the landscape of higher education. This hands-on workshop, designed specifically for university faculty, moves beyond the fear of "cheating" to explore Gemini and its associated Google AI tools (like NotebookLM and Gemini in Workspace) as powerful co-pilots for both administrative efficiency and pedagogical innovation.
Participants will learn practical, effective prompting techniques, discover how to leverage enterprise-level data protection features, and leave with concrete strategies for designing engaging, AI-aware assignments. We will focus on three key areas: accelerating research/admin tasks, differentiating instruction, and setting ethical boundaries for student use in the classroom.
